San Juan Island County Park

One of our longstanding traditions is the San Juan County Park camping trip. This year we saw more Orcas than we have in years, and Chris and I saw glimpses of a future trip where things might be a little easier with the boys. Thankfully, we have good friends who keep us buoyed when things are feeling hard.

Glad you had fun (and could see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel) - the islands are just irresistible, aren't they?! And I agree with you, I'm always so surprised by how hard it is to see friends in the summer! Every year I think this will change, and each year it seems to get a tad harder. Oh well, enjoy the rest of your trip. Call me when you return!

Oh my I could just feel the rays of sunshine, smell the water and feel my heart get lighter just looking at those pictures. Very nice!
